Each site has their own power and water facility and drinking water is so crystal clear and soft after running through the ultra-voilet lights.
One cottage and 6 onsite vans complete with solid annexes make up the on-site accommodation .
These on-site vans are self-contained with full cooking facilities - linen - towels - tv. Three have shower and toilet facilities plus air-con - bbq and patio.

Access to the boat ramp and the jetty is through the Park some 600 metres from the sites, so children are safe to walk down to the Baffle Creek and throw in a line. Bring their bikes and they can ride down.

Camp fires are permitted in designated areas and nothing is more homely than a group of people toasting marshmallows - chatting and enjoying themselves around a fire.
Pets are also welcome as long as they are on a lead at all times and the doggie bag is always handy for pick-up

The Oaks on Facing Island are pristine, relaxed, beachfront camping grounds, located on the north-west side of Facing Island, a short distance from the Ferry drop off point at Farmers Point.
There are 35 unpowered campsites on the Island, suited to self-sufficient campers. Composting toilet are provided at the campgrounds. Campers should be aware that wood and charcoal fires are not permitted therefore you should bring gas or kerosene fuelled stoves. Bookings are required and can be made through the Gladstone Visitor Information Centre.
Southend is situated on the southern end of Curtis Island, just 12kms from mainland Gladstone, the camp grounds offer 20 unpowered sites with ocean views. The camping grounds have limited facilities, so visitors are recommended to bring enough provisions for their trip, including gas and barbecues.
